Catharine Cooper is the principal of cooper design.
She studied at Art Center School of Design and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Laguna College of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, from the University of California, San Diego and a Certificate from the Professional Screenwriter’s Program at UCLA. This education, combined with a strong background in marketing, provides Catharine with a unique perspective in both creative strategizing and design implementation.
As Creative Lead, she has managed projects for clients such as MAZDA, Santa Fe Pacific Gold Corporation, Allergan Herbert, Koll Construction, WiFi Rail, The ShowPros Group, Site Selection Network, and Analytical Management Solutions. Catharine currently handles media relations for WiFi Rail.
Catharine is a member of the Laguna Beach Environmental Sustainability Committee, a Director of The Grand Canyon River Runners Association, and past President of the Laguna Beach Business Club. She writes a bi-weekly newspaper column for the Laguna Beach Independent and blogs for The Ocean Foundation and Eco-Alianza. She is the former chair for the City of Laguna Beach Open Space Committee, and was a Trustee at the Laguna College of Art & Design.
